Agro-production

Picture

Puerto Cayo parish, represented mostly by production and commercialization, consists of Cantagallo, Puerto la Boca, Motete, and Manantiales.  The region produces many fruits, legumes, and vegetables including watermelon, pepper, cilantro, melon, cucumber, beans, oranges, corn, cassava, pumpkin, papaya, banana, passion fruit, onion, lemon, and tomato.  Our farmers are careful to take appropriate precautions and carry out optimal processes during agroproduction in the parish.  Domestic law and improved access roads in the most recent term of government have made it possible to move our products to canton of Jipijapa and on to other markets in a strategic manner.
